Make sure to spend some time hanging out around the potholes. There is a lot of opportunites for scrambling up cliff sides and large rocks. The trail itself is moderate to easy difficulty and unfortunately spends a lot of time next to the highway. There is a more difficult one mile loop around the sandstone bluffs that is a most see.
