A short hike around the largest waterfall (a double waterfall at that) in southern Minnesota. Something about waterfalls attracts people. It might be the sound of water splashing, the cool mist, or the blur of the water as it drops. Minnesota has its share, whether along the North Shore, in the city, or here in the south; but in Minneopa you see, feel, and hear it twice with a double falls. The falls have been bringing people here since the late 1800s, when literally thousands of people showed up to attend picnics, relax, hike in the glen, and, of course, see the falls. Special attractions: Double waterfall, erratic strewn prairie, and the Seppman windmill.
