Short hike to the top of Blueberry Hill for overlooks of Northern Light Lake and upper Burle River. Blueberry Hill on the Northern Light Lake Trail really does live up to its name, with bunches of blueberries growing on the upper slopes. If you hike during blueberry season in summer, you probably will not be alone in your grazing, as the neighboring region is know for its rich wildlife diversity. The blueberries, no doubt, draw in a few animals; as does the shoreline of Northern Light Lake, especially the marshy west side, which looks to be prime moose habitat. Special attractions: Overlooks, berries, and wildlife.
