Was origionally on the green trail but where it meets the south loop can be confusing. Don't go straight at point 13. Most of the trail is very sandy. I can tell I'm not the only one that took off their shoes to do this trail.
Although I'm new to the hiking thing I loved this cause it was extremely hard for me. Regular shoes & sneakers are definitely not the right foot wear.
Saw lots of deer tracks, saw a couple of Armadillos and a snake. Saw lots of indicators of wildlife but not sure what they were to.
Oh and lost my favorite water bottle out there. Maybe I'll go early next week & see if I find it.
This trail is quite sandy and mostly open. On a hot or sunny day, it can be brutal out there. Try these trails in the cooler months.
