There are so many miles of trails in the sprawling natural area of the DuPont State Forest, it is hard to choose, Possibly the most popular—for both dogs and people, is this one: the Triple Falls Trail. Quick and to the point—it brings you through some of the prettiest parts of the forest on a steep but fast trail to see some of the loveliest waterfalls. The best times of year to hike this trail are in spring when wildflowers are profuse and in fall when the colorful leaves framing the waterfalls make for postcard-perfect scenery. Be aware that the forest allows hunting by permit only.

This is a well developed and heavily traveled trail. It is a very scenic view. There is a reason so many movies are shot in this park. I would rate the trails easy/moderate because of graveled pathways. Going to DuPont always puts a smile on my face and this hike needs to be on everyone's bucket list.
