You don’t have to hike long at White Pines before coming upon the preserve’s feature attraction. In fact, you can see them from your car: a hillside of displaced white pines cascading down the 275 acre preserve’s dominant north-facing slope. You’ll want to get out and hike, though; the preserve’s most impressive species are a half-mile down the hill.
