Franklin County Nature Preserve of the De Hart Botanical Gardens is an eighty-eight-acre sanctuary housing nearly five hundred flora and fauna, including 102 types of trees and shrubs, azaleas in seventy-five colors, twenty-three species of mint, and nine different crane fly orchids. You can see nearly all of what the preserve has to offer on two 1.8-mile loop trails.

Pretty in the spring with the azaleas in bloom. Open Sat - Tues only.

Very nice area, but the trail was more like a walk in the park. Don't get your hopes up for this trail if you want a workout, but is very nice to take pictures from.
