Rockwood park is very nice place to visit. Although I was skeptical at first, because of the "paved-ring", it turns out that this park has allot of added "cut-throws" that are a dirt / gravel mix to hike on as well. Rockwood was not very busy on the day we attended, however, on "fair weather day" I could see this park being very packed due to the paved ring and easy access and because of its location. There are plenty of places to fill up your water bladder and good sights to see. If you do happen to stray from the pavement, beware of "big boy" a hyper active lab that loves to jump the creek that seperates residental property from the park.
