Though it does rely on gravel forest roads to make a complete loop, Carter-Taylor Multiuse Trail features long stretches of singletrack. Three stream crossings entail some ups and downs, but the generally level nature of the trail counterbalances its length.

Another nearby trail. Designed for hikers but a great place for beginner bikers as well. 20 miles around the whole city with single track, obstacles, street riding, paved trail, stream crossings, etc.
