This was a terrific hike, my dog and I are enthusiatic though not experienced hikers and we loved it!
Our group didn't do the whole trail listed as-is. Instead, we went in on the Seneca Creek trail, took the Judy Springs trail and hooked up with the Huckleberry trail to the summit. This was actually a very nice variation, and the Judy Springs shortcut was really beautiful including a picturesque sloped field and the springs that are the trails namesake. Note to those interested in hiking in and camping, there are MANY places along the Seneca Creek Trail and Huckleberry trail that have a lot of flat space and quite a few firepits.
