This loop utilizes several trails to completely circumnavigate the southern end of the state park. Utilizing other side trails, loops of almost any distance and difficulty can be hiked. This 3,712-acre park offers nearly 25 miles of trails and an almost infinite number of loops. East Ridge and Big Ridge form the eastern boundary of the park, separated by Howards Lick Run. Special attractions: A pleasant hike along Howard Lick followed by a challenging climb up East Ridge.
