Situated in northern Montgomery County, this park is an attractive locale where hikers can vigorously roam suburban parkland. It features a large lake, rolling woodlands, meadows, and a seasonal variety of views. Located about 21 miles northwest of Washington, Black Hill Regional Park covers 1,854-acres of rolling woodlands, meadows, and water. In fact, water is the park's dominant physical feature, with Little Seneca Lake accounting for almost a third of the acreage. The lake, the metro area’s largest, clearly ranks as the multi-use park’s chief attraction.
