Logyard and Gooseneck are two separate campgrounds located 35 river-miles from each other on the Current River. In the southern part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways the Current is a wide, deep, and clear stream, and these two camps are fine places to enjoy boating, fishing, canoeing, or swimming. Both Gooseneck and Logyard are tiny primitive campgrounds with only vault toilets and water, so they’re not heavily used. Known and accessed mostly by locals, these laid-back hideaways are rustic escapes for those who prefer avoiding more developed campgrounds like Round Spring, Two Rivers, or Alley Spring.
