In the southern part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, the Current is a wide, deep, and clear stream, and Logyard is a fine place to enjoy boating, fishing, canoeing, or swimming in this beautiful river. Logyard is a tiny primitive campground with only vault toilets and water, so it’s not heavily used. Known and accessed mostly by locals, this laid-back hideaway is a rustic escape for those who prefer avoiding more developed campgrounds like Round Spring, Two Rivers, or Alley Spring. Logyard has seven official sites, and dispersed camping is allowed on Logyard Bar. The seven regular sites are evenly spaced around a grassy, open area shaded by hardwoods. All sites are shaded and have plenty of space around them for two tents. The Current River is 100 yards to the south of camp, separated from the campground by a band of riverside trees.

This is a beautiful area to camp. The sites closer to the creek are choice. The facilities are located in good areas. the scenery and Marble Creek are beautiful. Our trip was plagued by heavy rain and the visit was cut short. We were unable to hike the trails, but did visit the shut-in portion of the campgroung and enjoyed it.
