On a hilltop near the southern end of man-made Lake Moomaw, Morris Hill Campground features a loop of 39 nonreservable tent sites around a heavily wooded ravine. A nearby spur has 16 reservable sites that can house tents or RVs. Three of the reservable sites are categorized as wheelchair accessible and are located next to one of the three bathhouses. All of the sites are situated in an area of mature hardwoods with enough low-growth vegetation to provide privacy between campsites. There is also ample space between campsites so that you won't feel that you're camping cheek by jowl.
