Lewis Mountain Campground is located in the central section of Shenandoah National Park. With only 31 campsites, it’s the smallest of the park’s five campgrounds. Half are designated as tent sites and half for RVs. There are no electric hookups, and this is the only campground in Shenandoah National Park that does not have sewage disposal tanks. If you’re fortunate enough to snag a site at Lewis Mountain, you’ll find a quiet, rustic setting that is sometimes overlooked in favor of the larger campgrounds.
