Sleepy Creek is a primitive camping area with few amenities, but great for the get-away-from-it-all camper. Fishing gear is a must and having a canoe isn't bad either. Bring in all of your creature comforts. There is a fresh water spring toward the entrance to the park though, but it's a bit of work getting water back to the camp site.
Sleepy Creek is beautiful. The trail information from Trails.com is pitiful. Call the WVDNR office in Romney and have them send you a map, and check out the Explore Maps from Shepherdstown, WV (www.exploremaps.com)for Berkeley County.
