Brandywine Lake is a fully developed national forest facility that has received a makeover. Now it’s even better. Sites are first come, first serve. Brandywine has an excellent hiking loop trail, picnic areas, and fishing. Most people come here for the mountain-rimmed lake and its offerings. There might not be many people around here, including nearby residents, if it wasn’t for the lake. The folks in Brandywine are glad it’s here; you will be too.
