Secluded from traffic, but can get crowded early, especially when trout stocking is taking place. Best time to arrive is late Thursday or very early Friday. Remote, but only 20 minutes from Marlinton. Check National Forest Service website to find condition of forest roads surrounding the area. Best access is off St. Rt. 150 (Scenic Highway). Near superior trout fishing. Smallmouth fishing on Greenbrier River within 40 minutes drive.
