I made this hike with a buddy, our two sons (age 9), and my nephew (age 10). We made it an overnight loop, camping along the river downstream from the Corbin Cabin. The hike was easy; some of the steep sections were difficult for the kids but they all made it with fully-loaded packs.
The Nicholson cabin was interesting to see. It's amazing how good shape it is still in.
