Excellent trail, really enjoyed this one. We parked at Browns gap parking off of Skyline Drive. After parking, cross skyline drive and find a beautiful grassy old fire road used by Stonewall Jackson in the Civil War. After 1 mile, take a sharp right and walk along Doyles river. There are 3 above average waterfalls and the vegetation is beautiful. There was a water crossing as you approach the 3rd waterfall that required waling on a log and skipping several boulders. The loop was great, good workout and was over 6.5 miles by parking at Browns gap instead of at Doyles River Parking Lot. I would recommend this trail, we did it in about 4 hours 15 minutes.
