This is a great hike with excellent mountain, glacier and waterfall views. Spend a night out there to hike the whaleback.
This is one of the best hikes I have ever taken. It has everything: incredible scenery, steep accents and decents, a glacier walk (if you want to go off trail), fording glacier streams (very cold - take extra socks) and magnificent lakes and waterfalls. It is a serious hike, but my wife and I did it in one day. The only problem with it is at the end when you have a long flat 5 mile trail to get back to the trail head.
