The initial climb from the shoreline of Lake O'Hara is a bit of a grunt, but definitely worth it as once you gain altitude, you are rewarded with spectacular views of Lake O'Hara and many of the other scenic spots in the valley. There is some ledge walking which may not be for everyone but is very enjoyable as long as you concentrate on where you are stepping. A difficult task as the scenery pulls your eyes away from the ground in front of you. I would highly recommend it.
