Four Lakes Trail is an easy walk in the woods. Stump Lake includes some interpretive signage. Fern Lake is clear, and there are opportunities to wade into the lake and potentially go swimming. We didn't try when we were there because a black bear jumped into the lake on the other side just as we were there. Edith Lake is on the park boundary, and has houses on the far side. Alice Lake is the best lake for swimming, with designated swim areas, beaches, and swim docks. It was somewhat windy, and very crowded on the holiday weekend. The trail itself was relatively quiet. We encountered 3 other hiking groups and 1 mountain biker. We didn't see the bear on the trail the others warned us about.
