This is spectacular country and the hike up Frosty Mountain is well worth it for the panoramic view at the top. It's a tough hike because the trail goes immediately into a steep ascent, with no gradual climb for warm-up, so if you're a moderate hiker or it's your first hike in a while prepare to be challenged. If you're doing the Frosty Mountain - Windy Joe loop, the guidebook is a bit vague about the last sections of the descent and you may want to check a Manning Park trail map, especially if you're walking back to the parking lot.
