This trail is awesome, but going over Little O'Malley and through the Ball Park is a little tough for novices but makes the whole hike better. The first view of the lakes is pretty amazing. Camp by the lakes or Campbell Creek, then take the easy way home the next day(the regular williwaw trail). Overall the loop was awesome, though the descents were a little tough (hence the decision to slide down the snow...which was scary and could have easily turned bad, but it was much quicker). Great trail for dogs, mine had a blast. Leave enough time to explore the lakes and head back to Long Lake. Saw quite a few other people but no bears or sheep, saw moose at a distance on the way out (near Powerline). Saw a few ground squirrels.
