Great trail for the mid-late season, can be covered with snow into June. Flat, through dense forest with intermittent views of Turnagain Arm. The view back into Turnagain Arm at the end of the trail is gorgeous, and can see Cook Inlet and the Kenai Peninsula. We hiked with our black lab and camped at the head of the trail. One can also camp at the end of the trail to make an overnight out and back. Would definitely recommend this trail for a different perspective of Turnagain Arm and surrounding areas.
