Seeing as how the last review is almost eight years old (!!!) I thought I'd write one as an update. Creamer's Field has had a lot of work done to it (and will continue to do so-REI just gave them $10k if I recall correctly!) and is a lovely little park now. The trails are no longer covered in water at any point during the year and are easily accessible. The watchtowers/observatories are all solid and in good repair. There are restrooms along the paved parking lot/drive as well as at the trailhead.
This is an excellent place to take a kid, dog, or friend for a short walk when you just need to get away for a while...it's hard to remember sometimes that you haven't left city limits!
Even though there is a lot of repair on-going, a large part of the paths are under water. Many of the boardwalks have rotted and collapsed. An observation tower has also fallen. Great for birding and seeing the types of trees in the region.
