Beautiful and very easy trail if you're in it for the scenic views rather than looking for a strenuous hike. Go early to avoid crowds. Lots of evidence of the abundant wildlife. Be on the lookout for black & brown bear. We ran into two black bear to politely yielded the right of way on the trail. Also beware of moose, who are not usually so accommodating. Even though it was mid summer, there were hardly any mosquitoes. Very recommended!
Trail woud be very easy in the summer but makes a long, but flat, treck in the winter. Totally worth it for the views.
Great, easy trail that climbs along the side of Exit Glacier, overlooking Harding Ice Field at the top. You can either stop and turnaround, or continue up the Harding Ice Field, which I would definitely recommend. Lots of wildlife to be seen and snow to slide down!
