The Green Lakes/Soda Creek Loop is the pinnacle of Central Oregon trail running—it just doesn’t get much better than this. It’s a spectacular loop run that visits high alpine scenery, mountain lakes, an abundance of wild?owers, crystal-clear running streams, cascading waterfalls, and well-maintained trails. If it sounds tempting, it is. As you’d expect from the description, it’s also pretty popular, especially among hikers. Crowds or not, though, this loop is a must if you love trail running.
