Marion Lake and the Eight Lakes Basin are steeped in tradition. Ask many native Central Oregonians where they took their ?rst backpacking trip or held their annual family campout, and more than likely many would name one of these places. Though much has changed over the years, including the removal of the beloved Forest Service cabin and rowboats on Marion Lake, the scenery remains as beautiful as ever.
