Not to be confused with Horse Butte (see previous trail), Horse Ridge lies farther out of Bend, approximately 15 miles east of town. A great destination in the winter months, the area rarely sees snow and has wide-open western views of the Cascades. During summer months, sections of the trail network can get very sandy, while spring brings desert wild?owers along the singletrack near the crest of the ridge.
