Not one, not two, but three stunning lakes are in store for you on this 3.1-mile double loop hike at Brazos Bend State Park. The first two lakes are horseshoe, or oxbow, lakes formed by the changing route of Big Creek over time, and then the trail takes you past Elm Lake. The banks of each of these lakes are lined with exquisite wildflowers and birds, and you will undoubtedly come across white-tailed deer and rabbits.
