Although this hike is 6.1 miles, it’s an easy hike suitable for just about anyone. If you want to hike and your younger children want to ride their bikes, no problem. The entire trail is paved and in excellent condition, so there are just about as many bike riders as hikers. Also, if anyone needs a break, there are bathrooms and pine-shaded picnic tables on both sides of Lake Galena.
