Fishing Glacier National Park

I hiked only into the valley to fish, about 1.5 miles down a moderate incline to the valley and another half mile to the river. With advance planning, though, you can take this trail to the Belly Ranger Station (about 6 miles) and on to some high lakes and passes. The Belly River drainage is unspoiled and spectacular, excellent fishing, and the hike I took was easy enough for a family outing.
