A single primitive campsite where you can see that people have built a fire is all this site has to offer. Earl’s Ford is just around the corner, and Timmy Place actually sits at the end of the overflow parking area for it. Kayakers and whitewater rafters use this popular Chattooga River access point throughout the summer, but it’s not too often that cars make it all the way back to Timmy Place. In part, because the road leading to the campsite is not well maintained, so you may need a high clearance vehicle to reach it.
