Acre upon acre of rolling horse pastures surround the Aiken area, and the South Fork of the Edisto River skirts across the northern portion of the park. A loop road leads you through this wooded wonderland and is long enough to cycle on. Almost every one of the twenty-five campsites sits along the perimeter of a flat longleaf pine forest, giving you a little more privacy than most other state parks in the Piedmont.
