On the eastern edge of the Piedmont, within easy reach of I-95 and resting along the western shores of Lake Marion, you will find Santee State Park. Two distinct campgrounds can be found within the park, the Cypress View and the Lakeshore. Several sites sit just above the banks of Lake Marion in both campgrounds, and the sites on the outside of the loops tend to have more privacy than those on the inside of the loops.
