Situated right alongside the Intracoastal Waterway, the Buck Hall campground and recreation area has an ideal location. Benches line the waterway, while a steady breeze helps keep the bugs away. The area is popular with boaters and anglers alike, and offers seafarers easy access to Bulls Bay and the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. There’s a boat launch and two floating docks on the premises. Or, for the land lovers who simply enjoy camping near the water, South Carolina's famous Palmetto Trail runs right through the property and is open to hikers and mountain bikers.
