This connecting trail links Upper Minam River Trail, 1.6 miles south of the Horse Ranch, to Standley Guard Station. (Trail 1655) As you climb out of the Minam River Canyon, the panorama unfolds. By the time you reach Standley Guard Station, you may have the feeling of being on the top of the world. Try to pace yourself as you climb so that you are not too tired to enjoy the country.
