This fairly challenging trail connects the Bear CreekTrail to the Huckleberry Mountain Trail. As you climb the path the views improve.The route traverses terrain typical of the western Wallowa Mountains: fairly level semi-open ridge tops and steep canyons with basalt cliffs. The open slopes become flower gardens in mid summer.
