This trail, in the upper Lakes Basin, runs between Lakes Basin Trail at Douglas Lake and East Fork Lostine River Trail near Mirror Lake. This trail is the access to Moccasin Lake, Glacier Pass Trail, and the o -trail route to Pocket Lake. (Trail 1810A) The trail heads southwest from its junction with Lakes Basin Trail 1810. It crosses the outlet of Douglas Lake and follows the lake’s shoreline for a short distance. Soon the trail leaves the lake and climbs 0.5 mile to the top of a small rise, topping out at approximately 7,600 feet. It then drops slightly for 0.25 mile to an unmarked trail junction. The route to Pocket Lake begins here. Continue straight ahead (west) 0.25 mile to Moccasin Lake and lots of fish to be caught. The trail follows the north shore of Moccasin Lake.
