This pretty park along the Rush River is rustic and offers access to the river as well as hiking, biking, and horse trails. Wildlife viewing and bird watching are also popular pastimes here, especially in May, when as many as 20 species of warblers pass through on their migration. Campers must call the Sibley County Sheriff’s office at (507) 237-4330 to receive permission to camp. Campsites are reasonably well spaced, and most are wooded. Pets are allowed.
