Pihl’s Park is on Rice Lake, a good source of crappie, bluegill, northern pike, and walleye. The campground also has a short nature trail that goes along the shore. There are seasonal sites available, and management keeps landscaping up to date with flowers, giving it more of a resort feel. There’s even a cozy wicker chair grouping under a tree for some civilized relaxation. Campsites are well spaced, sizable, and mostly wooded, with plenty of privacy and shade. Pets are allowed.
