This park is on Lura Lake, a good source of crappie, perch, northern pike, bass, and walleye for both boat and shore fishing. There’s a good-size sandy beach for swimmers, and a fun hiking trail that meanders off the beach to Nature Island. A primitive area that showcases the region’s flora and fauna. Overall, the park is full of both trees and open grassy areas, giving visitors their choice of sun or shade. Campsites are well spaced for privacy. Pets are allowed.
