This city park has the Cottonwood River running through it, and the campsites are adjacent to the river, providing more of a nature feel than you’d expect from a city park while still allowing easy access to the town. Cottonwood trees are plentiful, providing a good amount of shade, and the sites are spaced well for privacy. Fishing can be done from the shore, and canoers have miles of river to explore. Pets are allowed.
