Lake Sylvan Park is a municipal park in the small town of Canby. This is a part of the state that’s more wide open, yet this park does have stands of trees along with its prairie views. The lake offers decent panfish and northern pike fishing, and some years it’s stocked with walleye. Campsites overlook the lake, without much shade, but have great views. Pets are allowed.
