This park is on the edge of the charming German heritage town of New Ulm and just down the road from the historic Schell’s Brewery. The Cottonwood River runs through the park, offering plenty of boating, fishing, and swimming. The river provides much of the rolling terrain of the park, and hikers can choose both flat and hilly trails among the 8 miles of trails in the park. There are also 6 miles of groomed cross- country ski trails in the winter.
