This lovely park is on the shores of Belle Lake and offers a pristine swimming beach. Given that the surrounding area is still primarily natural, both wooded and wetlands, there’s an abundant amount of wildlife and birds to be seen. Unfortunately, that also means mosquitoes can be a problem early in the summer, but as the season goes on, that abates. The campground is a short walk from the beach, and the sites benefit from plenty of trees giving shade and privacy. Pets are allowed.
