The big draw at this park is fishing in Lake Marion, where there are good populations of walleye, catfish, crappie, perch, and largemouth bass. Besides boat access, there’s also a large fishing pier on the lake. A hiking trail at the campground winds through the woods and out to the lake. The tent- only sites are tucked into the woods and offer great privacy. The other campsites aren’t terribly private, but are an easy walk to the lake and sit amid a grove of trees. Pets are allowed.
